Blackpool’s brilliant air show is back. Planes new and old will be taking to the skies to show off the prowess of British engineering. Expect to see Typhoons, Spitfires, Hurricanes as well as aerial displays from the world famous Red Arrows. Click here for more information.
14 August – Fylde Coast Food and Drink Festival
The Fylde food and drink festival will once again be hosted in Fleetwood’s Marine Hall. Expect to sample some the region’s finest food and drink so make you sure you arrive with an empty stomach! Click here for more information.
13 – 14 August – Lytham 1940s Wartime Festival
Experience the sights and sounds of the 1940’s. With historical vehicles, music and dance, memorabilia and educational talks, this year’s event is sure to be a walk down memory lane. Join in the fun and rent out your own 1940’s costume. Click here for more information.
28 August – Danny, the Champion of the World
Get down to the outdoor theatre at Lytham Hall for a showing of Roald Dahl’s ‘Danny, Champion of the World’. Starting at 2pm, this promises to be a great day out! Click here for more information.
