Our Badger Hill Park has been awarded first place in the Knaresborough in Bloom ‘Best Neighbourhood’ category for the fourth consecutive year.
Park home residents and staff at Badger Hill Park, on the outskirts of Knaresborough, have become renowned for their horticultural skills and pride after winning the prestigious award for the last three years.
The park was named ‘Best Neighbourhood 2013’ in the Knaresborough in Bloom competition last year and also received Level 5 ‘Outstanding’ recognition in the Royal Horticultural Society’s Yorkshire in Bloom competition.
This year the park was deemed to be ‘Thriving’ by the judges of the Yorkshire in Bloom awards.
The dedicated and enthusiastic gardeners of Badger Hill were presented with their 2014 Knaresborough in Bloom award at Knaresborough House on 19th September.
Commenting on the awards, Barton Park Homes Managing Director, Charlie Barton Jnr, said, “Once again I would like to congratulate everyone at Badger Hill on their horticultural achievements. Their enthusiasm, passion, skills and expertise in this area benefit the whole park.
“The awards are testament to the hard work of all the residents who spend the year making Badger Hill such a beautiful place to live and holiday.”
The carefully sited and luxuriously appointed park homes on our multi award winning Badger Hill Park are located at the heart of Yorkshire’s ‘Golden Triangle’.
The homes at Badger Hill form a warm and welcoming community of people who appreciate the comfort and ease of living provided by a retirement park home.
