Adele Buys Her Grandmother Luxury Lancashire Caravan

The multi award winning singer Adele has bought a luxury caravan in Lancashire for her granny.

Adele, who recently broke the record for the longest number-1 album by a woman in Billboard history, wanted to treat her grandma Doreen Adkins for her 70th birthday. Yet despite the singer’s massive achievement to break into the US market, she remains proudly British and is still clearly keen to buy British products.

One of Doreen’s neighbours from Tottenham told the Daily Star newspaper: “Doreen was over the moon. She loves spending weekends at her local caravan park in Essex with her dog, and Adele often visits – even now she’s an international star.

“It might seem weird for Adele to be going from the Oscars in LA to a caravan park near Clacton-on-Sea, but she loves it. The two of them walk the dog together and catch up.

“Adele makes sure her gran wants for nothing. She has always been very down to earth and her huge success hasn’t changed her one bit.”

The towing caravan cost the superstar singer £24,000, which is a fraction of what she is now worth after sustained musical success. Adele, whose last hit was the critically acclaimed theme tune to the latest Bond movie Skyfall, chose one of the largest models of twin axle caravans.
