1. Armada Way Christmas Market

14 November to 24 December 2013

Opening until Christmas Eve, the ever-popular Christmas Market will turn Armada Way and Cornwall Street into a bustling festive haven, with traditional European-style market stalls offering a range of delightful gifts.

From handmade arts and crafts to jewellery and clothing, the Christmas Market is a great place for shoppers looking for something a little different to give to their loved ones this year. Market traders will also be selling festive food and drink, with toasty treats including mulled wine and crepes to keep you warm.

2. Saltram House: Carols in the Christmas Courtyard

Join the Saltram choir on Saturday 21st December from 6.30pm onwards for a good old-fashioned festive sing along in the beautiful surroundings of the historic stables courtyard.

Mulled wine, hot drinks and mince pies will be available from the Park Café and the shop  will also be open for last minute Christmas gifts – you can even pick up a Christmas tree.

Wrap up warm and bring a torch.

3. Royal Marines Christmas Spectacular

Festive military splendour will return to Plymouth Pavilions when the world-famous Royal Marines Christmas Spectacular heads back to the arena on Saturday 21 December 2013.

This popular event will feature some of the finest seasonal music from the Band of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines, Plymouth.

During this annual event, the Band will perform Christmas music, military marches, big band hits and popular showstoppers. In addition, their world-renowned Corps of Drums will demonstrate the precision, accuracy and musical skills for which they are famous across the globe.

Whether you prefer the colourful splendour and musical skills of the concert band, the rhythmic sounds of the big band or the sheer speed of drumming of the Corps of Drums, there is something for everyone at this spectacular festive concert.
